Channel Bakers are a full-service global digital advertising agency and one of the top-ranked Amazon service agencies globally. The agency works with a wide range of brands from new-to-market and mid-tier, right through to global strategic and high-profile names, including retail brands, Calvin Klein and Levi’s, and tech giants, Samsung and Dell. Their core tenet is to help brands grow their sales and influence through their retail and Ecommerce channels.

When Channel Bakers partnered with the RTM US team, their business goals were clear: fast scalability and specialised Leadership search.

Challenge

Due to demands in the Ecommerce space, Channel Bakers had entered a hypergrowth stage, positively accelerated by the changes in online buying behaviour throughout the pandemic. As part of their rapid business development, Channel Bakers had successfully secured new significant global clients, but while their People team were growing, they were limited in resources to reach their recruitment goals for hypergrowth. Their current teams needed scalability - fast.

Solution

Growing their Leadership and Executive Team, Channel Bakers needed a more targeted search approach outside of traditional careers advertising, to reach passive senior candidates in a highly competitive Southern California market. By liaising with their business leaders, and bringing in consultative market research methods, our team were able to clearly map where the talent was in this niche industry, for a specialised and personalised approach.

Over a 7-month period, our RTM US team successfully provided 2 key solutions: Leadership Search and Project Recruiting, making 44 team hires and 3 Leadership hires.
